Ballad of John Ware (2011) 3 min Commissioned by Trudy Fossy and the Calgary School Division for the John Ware Junior High School Band. There is an optional solo trumpet and solo flute (or violin) obligato part. There is also a simplified version with easier parts so less advanced students can play as well.

A Prairie Alphabet Musical Parade (1993) 29 min. Commissioned by the Regina Symphony Orchestra to be commercially recorded as a fundraising project to go with the popular children’s book, A Prairie Alphabet. Also a version for full symphonic band arranged for the Regina Lions Junior Band for their trip to Japan, July, 2002.
