Commissioned by tubist, Roger Bobo, for his tuba ensemble, “Stuba.” Four movements with 8 separate parts entitled: Hydra, Nessie, Fafner, and St. George and the Dragon. Premiered at ITEC 2000 in Regina. Also a version for Euphoniums recorded by Winston Morris on the CD, “Euphoniums, Unlimited.” Available from Tuba Euphonium Press
Jason and the Golden Fleece (2000) 12 minutes. Commissioned by Winston Morris and the tuba ensemble, “Symphonia,” with assistance from the Saskatchewan Arts Board. Premiered at ITEC 2000. Available from the Tuba Euphonium Press and inlcuded on the CD, Symphonie Fantistique released by Symphonia. Also a version for British Style Brass Band commissioned and premiered by the Hannaford Street Silver Band. Also a version for orchestra brass and percussion ensemble. Aegean Perspective (1999) 14 min. Commissioned by Shelley Jagow and Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, for flute, clarinet, saxophone, tuba, and percussion. Narration, written by the composer and based on a humorous, modern prespective of ancient Greek myths, can be performed by the musicians or by an outside narrator. Premiered at the International Tuba Euphonium Conference in Regina, 2000. Later performed at the World Saxophone Congress in Montreal and the World Flute Congress in Ohio. CMC
